I started to get seriously
interested in photography in
1975, largely prompted by
spending time in The Sudan,
and deciding I needed a
'serious' camera. My friend
and colleague Tony Meech
got me started in the
darkroom.
I took it to the point where I
was exhibiting, and even
making a bit of cash from it.
Unfortunately, in 2004, almost
my entire slide collection was
stolen in a burglary. The
slides were  in suitcases, and
obviously taken inadvertently.
I guess they ended up in the
river Hull.
Anyway, anybody who's
interested can have a look at
what remains, or what I've
done since.
At least, those I've digitised.
